Lab Caches FAQ on Geocaching.com

Measure Map (Full Version)
I’ve just been listening to the first bit of the June podcast on my ride into work today, as always, I have some comments:
First off, lab caches. The ones I’ve heard BananaSource (I think thats it – the english accent makes it sound like BananaSauce to my uncultured North American ears) describe makes the ones I have done in the US seem poor by comparison, tho I think they are trying to solve separate things. The ones in the UK seemed to center on new and interesting hide styles (like the ball pit – yes pit. Not a pool, pit). The ones I’ve done in the US have been more along the lines of historical tours (the Hatfield/McCoy feud, and historic St. Charles Missouri).
I’d like the next step to be testing better ways to log virtuals and earth caches. Instead of having to email the CO answers it would be nice to have a form one can fill out that can be verified automatically, and use the CO email option as a backup.
I suspect the lab stats you were looking at when recording the show were older versions. My stats now show my finds as being correct. It no longer has the “distinct” field, and I have a new shiny lab cache icon.
I’m sure I’ll have more comments when I finish listening to the show on my home commute (cause I am an opinionated *******), but enjoyed the show so far.
